Hi, I'm Danielle
I'm the founder of Ledger & Aspen Financial, a bookkeeping business built from a love of numbers, a heart for helping others, and a season of life that changed my path in a way I never expected.

As a single mom, providing for my family while being present for my children has always been incredibly important to me. When a health situation with my son required me to step away from traditional work for a period of time, I foulnd myself trying to figure out how to be the mom my son needed while still providing for my family.
​
It was a difficult and uncertain season, but it also gave me the push to look at the experience and skills I had built over the years a little differentlly.
​
With a background in bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, financial organization, and business administration- and while continuing my education in accounting- I realized I had the opportunity to take what I already knew and build something of my own.
​
Something that would allow me to be there for my family while also doing work I genuinely love: helping businesses become more organized, understand their numbers, and build a stronger financial foundation.

Why Ledger & Aspen
I knew from the beginning that I didn't want to choose a business name simply because it sounded good. I wanted it to have meaning and represent the kind of business I hoped to build.

Ledger represents the financial foundation of a business- the numbers, records, and details that help tell the story of where a business has been and give owners the information they need to decide where they want to go.
​
Aspen represents something a little more personal.
​
Aspen trees may look like individual trees above the ground, but beneath the surface, they can be connected through the same root system. Those roots provide connection, strength, and support for continued growth. That connection is what drew me to the Aspen
​
I fell in love with that meaning because it reflects exactly what I want Ledger & Aspen to be. To me, it's a reminder that while every business has its own story, goals, and path forward, no business owner has to navigate every part of that journey alone.

You're the one building your business, making the decisions, taking the risks, and chasing the dream. My job is to support you along the way. That's what I want Ledger & Aspen to be: a steady source of support behind the scenes, helping you feel more organized, informed and confident in the financial side of your business.
